How to understand the standard 5 digit color code? for example

first digit= color tone (i.e purple or amethyst)

0
Crystal Or White
1
Topaz or Brown
2
Purple or Amethyst
3
Blue or Sapphire
4
Grey
5
Green
6
Aqua and Turquoise
7
Pinks
8
Yellow
9
Red
Darkest Amethyst is Black

The second digit is for effect of finish. for example coating, lining, effect and such.

0
Transparent
1
Aurora Borealis (AB)
3
Opaque
4
Rainbow
5
Satin
6
Luster Shimmer
7
Silver Lined and Dyed Ceylon
8
Luster Finish and
9
Copper Lined

The third, fourth and fifth digit refer to the intensity, zero would stand for transparent or no lining

( the greater number the darker the color tone) exept when there is a combination of

the number 5 and 4 which always means that the bead is black lined.

if the fith digit is 6 then the bead is white lined. if the final digit is M then the bead has been matted.

for example 21080M

2=Amethyst

1=Aurora Borealis

0= Transparent

8=Dark Amethyst

0= No lining

M=Matted

21080M= Dark Amethyst Matted Aurora Borealis

P.S Due to the tremendous color selection, these guideline only apply for NATURAL color tones.

The dyed colors do not follow these strict guidelines.
